ENGAGEMENT

 

The Standard Bank Young Artist Awards are presented by the National Arts Festival to emerging, relatively young South African artists who have demonstrated exceptional ability in their chosen fields, but who have not yet achieved national exposure and acclaim.  

 

To ensure that the message of their commitment to the arts remains steadfast, we helped Standard Bank in finding new ways of making dreams possible by bringing the National Arts Festival to South Africans in a more multidimensional, multicultural and multisensory way. For 2021, Standard Bank presented a taste of Makhanda around the country and streamed the National Arts Festival online ensuring expanded ways to further engage with the artistry through various platforms: 

 

• Standard Bank Youth Jazz Festival – live in Makhanda 

• Standard Bank Jazz Festival – live in Makhanda 

• Standard Bank Young Artist Awards.
